A New Addition

Annie - on the left - has joined our greeter staff as the assistant Greeter. She was an abuse case and came to us by way of the local Newfoundland rescue group. She is still getting use to her new surroundings She has a great disposition and will soon be a big help to Mondo.

The group has published a poster map, map-brochure and website that showcases the local flavor of wineries and businesses along the route.

Wine Dinners

Dining Table

We have scheduled several wine maker's dinners for this spring. Our first this year was on St Valentine Day with Autumn Maddox and our friends at Archery Summit. The menu is posted on our web site. It was memorable for all those attending.

Upcoming dinners are, as of now :

March 28 -EIEIO & Chef Autumn Maddox - the theme will be The Passionate Persuit of Porcine Perfection. This will include a pre-release tasting of Jay's new releases as well as whatever we can pull out of his library.

May 2 - ArborBrook & Chef David McGlade - There have been too many coincidences in getting to know Chef David and the Hansens to expect anything less than a wonderful evening.

There will be more!

3.7 & 8.09 | Spring on 47 - Thirty-five wineries and businesses along Rt. 47 in the Northern Willamette Valley will celebrate spring by offering a weekend full of tastings of brand-new wine releases, food pairings, sake tastings, live music, discounts and more!  The group, called Sip47 is new, but the idea is as old as the beautiful hills that are planted to vines:  slow down and enjoy the road less-traveled.

For every two night reservation at the Inn that weekend, Brookside will contribute $25 to the

Flavors of Carlton.

We do hope you can visit us and thank you for your time.
