Hi Susan and Bruce,
We just wanted to thank you for the wonderful
hospitality! We loved the room and all else...the
wonderful breakfast, restaurant recommendation,
spa set up, and winery recommendation. Thank you
also for use of the meeting room and late checkout
- very helpful for us! Thank you!

Greetings Bruce and
Susan,
Steven and I wanted to let you know that we enjoyed
our time at Brookside Inn. You guys truly have
a "magical" place and we look forward
to an extended trip in the near future. Winters
Hill turned out to be our favorite winery of the
weekend, thank you for the tip. We would highly
recommend making a trip out there.

"Our recent stay
at the Brookside Inn made our trip to Oregon most
memorable. The accommodations made us feel at
home which is what we always look for when choosing
a place to stay when away from our own home. This
was a serendipitous discovery. We still haven’t
decided which part of our stay we enjoyed most.
The breakfast prepared by Bruce alone was worth
returning from our home in Charlotte N.C., the
close proximity of the vineyards, high quality
restaurants, scenery in and around the county
as well as the scenery around the inn. Again thank
you for such a memorable stay."

“Beverly &
I would like to take a minute to thank you for
making our stay at Brookside truly memorable.
We enjoyed the overall ambiance of the facility;
the view from the bedroom, the amazing breakfasts,
and most importantly, sharing wine with new friends
in the Living Room. We look forward to seeing
you both on our next trip to Oregon.”

"In the south
we're known for "southern hospitality."
Said another way -- we southerners appreciate
it when we are treated as if we are family and
that's exactly what our experience was with y'all!
Our first night in Oregon could not have been
spent at a better place. The view from our room
was wonderful -- looking out over a well tended
garden filled with beautiful flowers. What a great
place to sip wine from some of the wineries that
you were so nice to arrange tours of! As for the
food -- spectacular! Just thinking of the poached
egg with salmon over what we would call a grits
cake still makes our mouth water! Thanks to both
of you for a really special welcome to Oregon
and the wine country. We look forward to seeing
you again!"

“We thoroughly
enjoyed our weekend stay at your delightful Inn.
The pond formed by the brook that cuts through
your place offers so many possibilities for enjoying
wildlife and watching the colors change with the
shadows in the large pond as the sunlight filters
through the big trees. We will enjoy coming
again to explore the trails through the woods.
Perhaps I can catch a bit of the light and color
with my paint brush. Please tell me where
I can buy a bed as good as the two we enjoyed.
Having endured two back operations it is always
a joyous find when I can sleep an entire night
without pain. The pillows were the serenade
to my great nights rest.”

“The Brookside
Inn is tranquil. The quality & cleanliness
are first class. The owners, Bruce & Susan
are down-to-earth and really care about each guest's
experience. And the blueberry scones are
exquisite."

"The hospitality
was just outstanding: Comfortable, gracious and
relaxing, but with every attention to detail.
Breakfast was really a special treat with homemade
toasted granola and yogurt, fresh berries, and
prosciutto with made from scratch pancakes. All
served with a beautiful view and Mondo standing
guard! What a wonderful, peaceful escape."

"We thoroughly
enjoyed being some of the first lucky guests to
stay in your peaceful setting. Everything was
delightful...from the luxurious linens and towels
and quiet, comfortable room, to the sumptuous
breakfasts, with Bruce serving up the most delicious
scones and coffee, and a surprise entree every
morning. Having fresh picked berries from Susan's
garden was a bonus, and of course, who could not
enjoy the ever loveable "Mondo"? Thanks
again for a wonderful visit."
